It ain't that hard, go to a nice TGP, click "File" -> "Save as", look how many MB the shit is:
(size in MB * 30 * traffic per day) / 1000 = BW/month in GB

Depends on the scripts you are going to run for traffic trading and your thumbs. Something 2GHz, 512 MB RAM, 60 GB disk is fine to start with. Use Linux or FreeBSD as operating system.

You don't need a dedicated server for just one TGP, a virtual account is much cheaper.

http://www.phatservers.net has some nice hosting plans and they are ok, there are some more, but before you buy, do a search on GFY, some have a shitty reputation.

Run, don't walk, to Webair hosting and get the "Virtual One" hosting package for $39.95 per month. Contact a sales person and get the price per gig for bandwidth overages reduced a little, then have fun setting up and running your TGP. Virtual One comes with 100 gig of transfer monthly, a gig of disk space, and as many domains as you want to host, and more.

See my sig for a webair link.

Most definately, take a look at the "Virtual Special 1" package that we have running at the moment.

You shouldn't have to worry too much about your bandwidth use for a starting TGP. As has been said, get one of the virtual plans at Webair and don't worry about it.

if you dont worry about the BW on a thumb site, you are just going to get fucked up.

Thumb site burn WAY more bw than text sites. Not even funny.
