We have about 25 working systems. 10 in a network, a few standalones and some tucked in the closet. lol Probably could build another 50 with the parts we have. Even have a storage room full of backstock we buy from shops and then resell in bulk. We're weird tho. He has some 8088's that he plays on still.

I hate all three of mine. simple upgrade and parts switching has turned into an all-out computing nightmare. and to think..... i actually enjoy(?) this.
noooooooooooope. not anymore. and i still have not gotten half the new shit to work right. *sigh* good thing i took the rest of the week off from the dayjob. ------------------ Got Fetishes? Post Your Fetish Galleries Here |

I have 4 computers in my home. I have my workstation, which I use for making galleries, programming, email, internet, etc... Then I have a laptop, that I dont really use for anything. Sometimes my girlfriend borrows it for schoolwork.
I also have a server, which i host my domain and some of my galleries on. My last computer is my gaming rig. It's only used for playing 3d games and stuff like that. |

I've got a couple laying around. Anybody ever thought of using a extra computer that's just taking up space to strictly push a bunch of those "get paid while surfing" programs?

Nightlizard: Get a Dell laptop. They are much better than Compaq, IBM and other "big" brands. With a Dell laptop, you can format the harddisk and install a new OS from any cd without problems. With a compaq, you have to use a special "Compaq Windows" cd, or you will miss some utilities used for accessing the BIOS etc.
