sitting here this morning reading the LA Weekly and I come across this.

"It?s important to remember that Reagan, like Nixon, both stirred up and reaped gains from the white backlash of the ?60s. Reagan emerged as a national conservative leader when he campaigned for Barry Goldwater in 1964. Like Goldwater, he opposed the Civil Rights Act of ?64, which had abolished segregation in public facilities."

why the fuck do you try to equate Republicans with Democrats, as if they're the same type of people? No fucking way, Dems have done nothing to deserve that. The current Repub party is corrupt, criminal to the core. Put the blame where it fucking belongs instead of trying to be a world weary know it all (oh they're all the same) because they're NOT.
