What type of music do you all like to chill to?

Heya Everybody!

I have started a radio show on PLR Radio on Sunday Nights at 7:30pm EST called the "mellow show". I was wondering what all of your favorite mellow tunes were, can be oldies or modern! Im always looking for good shit to play but it has to fit the mellow theme for this show. Thanks

Dude, if you're talking mellow Curtis Mayfield can't be beat. Maybe a little "Trouble Man" by Marvin Gaye.

Excuse me, I need to listen to some Pusherman.

Some nice smooth jazz. maybe a little Nina Simone or Billie Holliday.

I really like to mellow out with Chopin, but I don't think too many others would be into that.

Then there's always Paul Simon, James Taylor, Frank Zappa.

Thanks guys! Im gonna try and get all of those songs and play em on my upcoming mellow shows on Sunday Nights. Also I noticed a couple of you didn't give me exact song names along with the band, if you can do that, it'll be easier to find em! Keep em coming! ))

Id have to say, I like to chill to Def Simon and Garfunkel (I am a rock) and some counting crows like the song color blind.

The best music came out of the mid 1980s.

Van Halen - Jump; Panama
Bon Jovi - Livin' on a Prayer; You Give Love a Bad Name
Bob Seger - Turn The Page

And alot more others.....

Country always makes me want to kill people

I chill and listen to ICP (Insane Clown Posse) I love their shit, it's nutty as hell and it's like nobody dares to play them on the radio, but yet that got as big a fan base as Eminem and they still underground. There concerts are fucking as wild as they come...last one I went to, I got a knot on my head the size of a golfball from being hit by a two-liter of Faygo. It was the shit!

Red, you're not the only one dearie. Play me some Chopin and I won't move 'til it's over.

Felis is my new best friend for saying "Good Vibrations". I've been studying the song for years and I still haven't figured out all the layers.

My pick: "Blue Light" or "Hot Wit You" by Prince.

Have you ever heard any of William Shatner's shit? Specifically, "Mr. Tamborine Man"? The first time I heard it I had to be put in to therapy for 3 days. Watching old episodes of Star Trek gave me flashbacks.
