Why do new versions of software get crapper?
why is it that software companies ruin perfectly good software with all the additions?
off the top of my head, the new versions of these programs suck: cuteftp windows media player winamp nero they all seem to add new functionality that just fucks up the software....

It's all a push towards user-friendliness and increased power.
But I agree with you, it certainly comes at a cost. |

but i find that they often become less user friendly... and the software sometimes doesnt function properly.
i mean, a text editor with an inbuilt browser?!?!!?

I know what you mean.
Nero was perfect the way it was.....now it's all bright and bubbly with Wags the helpful cartoon puppy dog to guide you through the process of burning a copy of your Britney Spears album. YAY! I still use Windows Media Player 6.4 most of the time. |
