Got my first Gmail account!

It was a heated 30 minutes of eBay bidding... I finally snagged one, GOT THE NAME I [email protected], logged in....

What do I do now? I just realized I already have about 20 email accounts filled with Spam, looks like I just bought #21 !

I've had one of my GMail accounts for a while not and NOT ONCE have I gotten a spam email. I'm sure it will kick in soon enough though.

I didn't get my first batch of invites until I had used it for a few weeks. I've got one more invite that I'm hanging on to for the time being. Gave one away on here yesterday though. You should have been around.

What's with this invite thing? Limited number of spaces I suppose.. but I don't think they'd really save 1 gig of space for each account.. it would takes years worth of email to take up that much space.

Cheers,
matt

Yes, thank you , thank you.... I also have a garage filled with bottled water, draw full of Viagra (which I don?t need), and pay a monthly membership to run at the gym!!

I keep on trying to just stop using my Yahoo and Hotmail accounts... but I can't seem to!!

How the fuck do you shut one of those off by the way?? Just let them fill with Spam?

They must have some massive data centers... I bet they "oversell" the servers by at least 4x..

I have 200 MB storage at my 9-5 job on our Exchange server and it holds like 2 months of email.... 1 GB of personal mail will be like 1.5 years...

I think it's because they're still in beta testing. The only problem for you man, is that the shortest name you can use is 6 characters. You're gonna be one short.
