A/C Vegas Heat Drama

Yesterday had the repairman out here cost me $445.00 was told it was fixed.

The temp in the house never dropped below 80 yesterday and had to call them out again...so then plop down another $156.00..and now it's finally cooling off.

Thank God it was only in the mid 80's if it had been 110+ like it was this last weekend we would have been suffering big time.

We went through that last year when we had our central A/C installed.

We had been told we didn't need a new furnace; yet, the AC didn't work at all and Washington, which rarely goes above 85 degrees, was pushing toward the upper nineties.

It was so hot we couldn't work, while we waited for our new furnace to be installed...took three weeks...

I feel your pain and I'm glad you're cooling off now. Vegas can be a bitch in the summer.

LOL thx.

Man just glad it didn't happen last weekend...and the a/c people weren't all booked up...charges might have been a bit higher.

You got off easy. I spent $2500 fixing my upstairs central air unit in April.
