Although ignorance seems to be well and alive in 2004, the things you describe have been obsolete for some time. Nowadays we have running water and this wonderful, miraculous discovery SOAP, I"m guessing you never heard of either. While chopping off penis might've been useful in 1000AD in the fucking desert, nowadays this kind of stuff is not necessary.

Kids make fun of a lot of things but that shouldn't be any reason to cut off something:1orglaugh. Kids make fun of other kids who wear braces, but the kid who wears braces on their teeth usually have a nicer smile than the ones making fun of them down the road and are thankful for it.

I have never try circumcised penis, so I cant say. But I like the uncircumcised that I'm using now . :Graucho

I've read accounts of guys who were circumcised later in life and they said they are able to "last longer" afterwards.

I've heard of doctors suggesting it as a help for guys with premature ejaculation problems, since cutting away the penis's natural protection (I guess) dulls the sensation a bit.

Among the jews today, the bris is more for ceremony and symbolism. A friend of mine was circumsised as a baby but had to have a portion of skin cut from his penis again at age 11 because when he was born, his mother wasn't an orthodox jew.

Because the foreskin had already been cut, they cut into a nerve that is now permanently damaged and he has a loss of stimulating sensation when he has sex.

Back when bathing was a seasonal or even yearly event, I could understand the argument for staving off infection.
But to use that same argument today is uncredible and fallible.

for those of you who say you will let your kids decide if they wanna get circumcised when they are older, thats usually a bad idea. adult circumcision is really only performed if the adult has phimosis where his foreskin will not retract or they just decide they want it done for whatever personal reasons. all (uncut) males have phimosis until about age 5 and then the foreskin becomes retractable. adult males who undergo circumcision usually experience many problems such as impotence in some cases and the post-op pain is much greater and lasts longer as an adult.
yes some men who have this done as an adult report they can "go longer" but that is most often because they experience less sensation.

What everyone here fails to understand is that MOST people saying uncircumsized is better are non-americans and MOST people saying circumsized is better are americans. Thus, it is stupid to say "ladies say so" since its simply not true. ;)

Ladies in the US obviously like circumsized more, duh to the long misinformation in the US and thus the high percentage of circumsized men.

Ladies in the rest of the world, (which is the vast majority on this planet btw) will prefer uncircumsized.

And everyone that keeps saying "its cleaner" and there is a "reason" why its done, please finally accept the fact that MOST of this planet's males are NOT circumsized! And its getting less constantly. Also, smegma buildup rate is different for every male, some have high rates some have low rates. For the ones that have a high rate will often get circumsized because of it. But for most males it takes days to really build something up, and if you do not clean yourself each day, its your own friggin fault.

But you are right, most of my US friends like cut, but I don't recall any of them ever having first hand experience with uncut, so their preferences are obviously biased.
The uncut men I have been with were both of European descent.
