Actually, the best vacation spot i have been too Is Camping at the kokanee Lake, in early june, there is still snow, the hike is a pain in the ass, and most importantly, NOONE AROUND...

I like Solitude.. I camped in Yosemite last summer, TOO many people...

And if it's a paid vacation? Aruba... thats my spot..

Martha's Vineyard is nice, but Nantucket is better... less people. I camped on Cape Cod up near Provincetown last summer... ten bucks a night for a campsite, and I just backed my Jeep up to the narest tree and slung my hammock from the roll bars!

What's a vacation? I haven't been out of Kansas for almost 10 years now. The last place I went was to south Idaho with a friend to drop off a friend of his. That was a road trip to Hades and back.

Now I just take road trips to places like Dodge City or Wichita.

I love Vegas, though after living there, Its hard to look at it as a vacation spot. The best vacation I ever took was a week in Cancun. (of course the fact that I won the trip, all expenses paid, made it even better.)

I live in São Paulo, its near Rio, and i have to say something... Rio SUCKS!! I've been there for Rock in Rio, and it really sucks...
I've travelled for many good places, like Greece, Spain, France, Florida, Cancun (It Rocks), and Brazilian NorthEast (try going to Fortaleza, it kick ass...)

My wife and I go to Niagara Falls fairly often (her parents live there) and the Canadian side is nice. The less commercial parts of Florida are still nice. Tennessee is a beautiful place to visit. Vegas is not my cup of tea but the wife can't get enough of it.

My favorite place? King's Island in Ohio. I love roller coasters and amusement parks in general. I want to go to Orlando this year to check out Islands of Adventure (specifically the Marvel comics island).
