Anyhow...with creative marketing on a FPA, it's easy to offer an alternative solution to the surfer and stay completely honest. You don't send them directly to another sponsor with the existing creative. That IS dishonest, as you are showing content that might not be available at the other sponsor's site.
And, in closing...if you are already sending a note out to all of the TGP owners...why not tell them that you are changing the link...
That way they don't have to contend with your 404's...and you still have all of your galleries producing sales...albeit, probably dramatically reduced.
But, I have my own business to contend to...so figuring out the rest is up to you.

I assume there is more to the story. the sponsor has some BS issue or they woul dnot feel so easy in pushing it down stream to you. the content is not properly licensed or soemthing like that. I am guessing.
But if that is the case can they give you content to just replace the old stuff with? You could let the owners know and just upload the new pics. Sure the gallery might be sort of "off" but better then 404 ing their shit.
If the site switched out of their system you could jsut make a deal directly with the site. Iamsure you have thought of all of this but 404 seems like the worst way to do it.Comment
