You asked me why I hold grudges against Acacia sell outs?

http://www.fightthepatent.com/v2/ClassAction.html

They helped making this possible!

Now tell me again that is not good business sense.

I agree but unfortunately those that had the finances to do that decided to team up with em.

So now it's up to a few brave souls to fight for this whole damn industry.

Realy sad when you think about it.

I agree and that is exactly the reason why we should boycot those so called "industry leaders"

They should be aware that selling out comes with a price tag!

Bullshit they could have teamed up with those that are fighting now!

There is always a choice but ya have to be willing to make it.

Instead they jumped on the oportunity to squeeze the little guy out of the game like a pack of rabit dogs!

whether they could or could not have fought is past.

The fight is being fueled by licensees. Now you can feel sorry for them but while you do Acacia are building up more money to fight the rest of us.

Send a few bankrupt and it sends a message to those thinking of signing up. Why do you think they shoot deserters and traitors in war time?

Hard I know, but this industry has largely ignored Acacia and what has happened? They are now taking a stand in Miami to sell more licenses.

Paid for by those sending traffic to licensees.

Interesting article in this month's IEEE Spectrum featuring the 3 ponzimen from Acacia and some blurbs from Spike Goldberg.

Guess the end sums it up best; Acacia has yet to write demand letters to the cable industry even though Berman is quoted as saying "Cable is more lucrative than the internet -- several times more lucrative".

I gues they haven't extorted enough from us yet.

I appreciate any anti-Acacia sentiment, but trolling for biz because you haven't licensed is kind of lame.

Has Juicy donated to the Defense Group? Have you?

The non-Defense Group people are complacent- happy to still make $$ on the net and not have to pay license fees or legal fees.

If Acacia gets the class action status this will no longer be the case.

You should keep up with threads before you post because you would have known that I just gave my sig away. I get nothing out of it.

I was merely responding to an off topic reply with a witty remark

If I would be trolling for bizz I would do it another way entirely.

As for donating I can only speak for myself but I gave when I could on several occasions to the IMPA so yes I have.

I also dropped every sell out from my sites. Anything more I can do?

I haven't been targetted by Acacia simply because I have nothing to do with audio or video at all. I just care about the industry and have ethics.

If so you are promoting Acacia.
