I talk to about 10 different clients a day, sometimes even more. While I love to give attention to those4 I do business with exactly, they think they can hit me with an idea, and boom im supposed to just sit down like a machine and start hammering it out

also...I think most good designers here will do whatever they can to meet a rush job of a client and be happy to do it but some days I do wonder why no one seems to think about when they will need their banners instead of hitting us up with they needed them yesterday. Still happy to fit people in if we can and the quality is always the same. Just think sometimes people need to play a head a bit.Comment

If they say they want it yesterday...they get yesterdays work in about two hours...
They want a masterpiece then give me some timeDICK TOO BIG! Maximum 120x60 button and no more than 3 text lines of DEFAULT SIZE and COLOR.
Unless your sig is for a GFY top banner sponsor, you may use a 624x80 instead of a 120x60.

Sure it's important that we get the job done in a timely fashion but there's a big difference between that and rushing it.
Our main focus is galleries and after building 20+ in a day pretty soon the text just starts looking like this:

If I were a designer, I think I'd only take couple big clients and let the small one deal with small designers ... I feal your pain .

They don't understand that because they order 1 gallery today that doesn't mean there weren't 100 galleries before them.
It's also easier when you're working on a large order of 30+ galleries for 1 site to find a general theme and expand on that instead of building 30 galleries for 30 different sites.

I've had 2-3k $ orders ... sometimes 10k $ + orders ...
and the only 2 customers that gave me shit on boards were for 60 $ and 130 $ (wich I totally understand but it wasn't my fault ... If they just email me and ask for refound ... 130 $ ? ok ...)
I dunno I'm not even sure about wanting to deal with orders under 500 $ in the future. Most of the time you have to talk a month give tips etc to get it done .
