    How mush are banner impressions worth?

    Someone is telling me they will provide me with 10,000,000 banner impressions for $10,000.00 over six months. He is claiming that I can expect a 1: 500 click through to my site... which seems very high to me...

    If any of you traffic guy... can shed some light for me it would be great... It is a quite targeted traffic source. He does have quite a few national companies advertising on the site/s ....

          Surfer traffic, CONFIRMED (viewable to the buyer) banner impressions are typically 5/CPM (5$ per 1000 impressions) or less. The fisher the source, the lower the price. Do yourself a favor and buy confirmed click throughs from your banners served, like 100$ per x thousand or whatever.

          Options are your friend and VIEWABLE confirmation of your advertising source is imperative.
