    Opened a 2.5% Money Market account today...

    Not to bad in San Diego the money market 2.5%

    if the rates feel like it will go down then i might put into a CD for 11 months for 2.8%
    but its locked for 11 months which is the prob

      Never lock your money into something like that. The second you do, something usually happens and you NEED it.

            OUCH 2.5%.. that's gotta hurth Regular intrest is around 3,25-3,50% here (and that's LOW)
