    Anybody got a canon powershot a70?

    when i want to take a pic it takes like 2 sec to press the button before it actually takes the picture....
    is there any way I can just have it take a pic instantly?

            Interesting.. I was actually looking at getting one of those. It has a lot of good reviews for its price range.

            I sure as fuck wont if it takes 2 seconds to snap a pic though.

              It takes 2 seconds because it needs to focus. To take the pic instantly, press the shutter half way, wait for the right moment and then shoot instantly. Or you can just use the camera in the manual focus mode...

                            Yeah, it's just focusing. Most of the higher end cameras do that... to ensure a crisp image.

                            I've never found it to be a problem to be honest.

                            There really isn't any way around it unfortunately. If there was, most of your pics would turn out blurry... as the camera wouldn't be in focus.

                            The flower thing isn't going to be much help to you... that's for manually focusing on items at close range.... it will make all of your pics blurry at anything over a foot away.
