It takes 2 seconds because it needs to focus. To take the pic instantly, press the shutter half way, wait for the right moment and then shoot instantly. I've never found it to be a problem to be honest.
There really isn't any way around it unfortunately. If there was, most of your pics would turn out blurry... as the camera wouldn't be in focus.
The flower thing isn't going to be much help to you... that's for manually focusing on items at close range.... it will make all of your pics blurry at anything over a foot away.Comment
