I wake up this morning to a mess. all the Roads are 100% ice and also covered with snow. Highway patrol is saying stay home, The Boss is calling to tell you not to bother, schools is canceled once again.

I guess I will go back to bed to see if it is all a dream.

Then I will be back later and hopefully I will be in a better mood.

In the 70's there was the worry that we might enter a new ice age ... the idea was .. all the pollutants in the air would reflect sunlight back into space.

Then, of course, in the 80's, everyone swings the other way with "OK, we're warming up .. "

NOW, there are people working in the Arctic analyzing climatic changes from ice cores saying that in the past there have been massive -- and they kinda say FREAKISH, weather changes in very short periods of time. Imagine suddenly that it snows all winter long next year in Florida.

Must of us accept the evidence that there was an Ice Age 10k years ago.

What I gather from all this is:

1. Climate does change dramatically.
2. We're no good at saying when or in which direction it will go.
3. You should FUCKING move to a warmer place!

Global warming is still going strong. I forget the exact stat but something like of the hottest (average per year) 10 years since the ice age, 8 have happened since 1990.

They discover this cutting iceburgs or something.

And remember in the 70's and 80's when it broke 100 everybody was amazed, 90 was as hot as fuck. Now it breaks 100 every other day in the summer. (in the NE)
