damn thats one big spider
|
If you notice anything that resembles a mosquito bite but has a dark center be sure to go check it out. My daughter got bitten by a brown recluse when she was about two. It got her in bed at night I guess. It had a dark center and started oozing some liquid and I took her to the ER and they gave her a steroid shot directly into the bite. It never did get bad. It scabbed up and went away. Two weeks later another one bit her in the same exact spot like it knew where she had been bitten before. We moved the next week.

Brown recluses like to hide in wood and other nice dark undisturbed places. I think I have had about every major posionous spider in my house this year. I had a black widow living in my computer room for a while till i thought about the reproduction factor.
If you must exterminate, but they dont reproduce like cock roaches and just keep an eye out for them |

And you said central Texas sucks. Are you in Texas? :helpme |
I had them in a house I rented several years ago. One of my roommates got bit in the chest when he was putting on his shirt...had to go to the hospital, his tit swelled up, etc. Rough.
This house was in the midwest, so it might be a little different than Texas. But the exterminator guys said that the spiders move through different areas, and they would eventually leave. They gave us a bunch of sticky spider traps that smelled like peanut butter until then. The traps did get quite a few...but we still found them in shoes and random other places. Be careful. |
damn man, that sucks... i don't think i'd be able to sleep

that is HILARIOUS actually ....READ about them online.....I just did recently because Im living in a more rural setting these days ..and we got spiders. |
Get some cats man. I see a lot less spiders these days because my cats eat them all.
We've got brown recluse and black widows around here too. Brown recluse I have seen in my basement and in boxes I've brought down from the attic. I've gotten some pretty nasty spider bites, almost always while I'm in bed. I remember one on my leg that may have been a brown recluse. The sore turned green and was filled with puss...it looked like gangrene...went away after a couple months of me popping the blisters and pouring peroxide on it 50 times a day. |
just reading this is freaking the shit out of me...im sure i have some sort of arachnophobia...im going all paranoid
seeing them will suprise me... but im alright with it...but if one of those fuckers gets close to me i can't fucking stand it |
I hate insects but spiders I normally don't bother with. After seeing these pics, I'm suddenly very itchy and my new enemy is a spider!
|
That is a huge spidey!
|
This type of stuff makes me wonder why people move waay out into the boonies? People, stay the fuck out of the woods and leave the bears, poisonous plants and poisonous spiders alone.
|
Those a nasty freakin' spiders. Necrosis sucks!
