Is it impossible to submit to forms if the submission method is post?

If they are using register_globals=OFF as is the default in most recent PHP versions, then your method simply won't work.

You'd have to build a form page yourself and submit, that way the variable $_POST[] would have your data

If you're not a newbie, it would've been pretty damn easy to make one. And yes am a little grumpy today, was up til 5 am transferring a database, and got up at 9:30 to start on it again!

And why would you need to use winsock? You shouldn't need to use any of that.
