I live close to a central router and my DSL ultra speed is sweet. No way I'm going to risk losing it by violating my ISP's TOS. I know they do enforce it from reports at boards & newsgroups devoted to the ISP where they dumped people for running various kinds of servers (even a chatbot). If I'm going to transfer files to others I am going to continue doing it with standard net tools. |
