A friend of mine told me it was a 17 yr old kid.. is this true? She said they shot the kid in the leg to stop him because he wouldn't stop.

I'm not sure where that 17 yo rumor came from. It was a 30-some year old guy from Evansville, Indiana. There's plenty of weirdos there.
