Harley Davidson finally figured out how to keep their bikes from falling apart by doing what the jap bikes have been doing for years with the engine mounts.

I've had two Harleys in the past, just sold my last one and got a Honda 1100 Shadow. The difference between how well the Honda was designed and how well built it was compared to the Harleys were night and day. Once a week I had to tighten down screws on the Harleys because they vibrated so damn much. From what I heard the new ones with the rubber mounts are a lot better now but I am still much more impressed with Hondas now, so much I even picked up a Honda CBR1100xx for the times I feel a need for speed.

The Honda VTX 1300 is a nice bike and priced right... I may pick one up for something to ride while building my custom bike

I want a bike myself.. but I dont think I would use it enough where I am. There is snow on the ground about 5+ months of the year.. and insurance rates for bikes up here are insane.

There is so much crap and chrome bolted on that thing it has tainted the name Harley.
The seat looks like a fat bitch rode it for ten years.

It looks like something a chick rides.

The funny thing is all the real bikers out there will laugh their assess off when
they see you on that side-saddler.
