After my surgery 2 years ago and that stuff sucks! I got sicker than hell. I've been on more potent stuff (morphine drip while I was in the hospital) but oxy is bad news IMO. :helpme

So, yes, for once it's refreshing to see GFY users give helpful advice, rather than being assholes and encouraging it's usage. However, I think we're perpuating the wrong image this time. Oxy Contin does not kill people. Oxy contin would not be FDA approved if it did. Let's stop blaming the powerful "euphoric" effect of the drug. And blame those who continually abuse various substances in efforts of escaping the hells of their life. |

Can someone please explain to me why people use drugs?
It's so fuckin' stupid. |
ok so let me get this straight lot's of opinions here. which is more powerful ?
Taking a 40 mg table or cutting a 40mg tablet in half then taking it ? |

the only difference between cutting it and taking it whole is the time it takes to get into your system |

when drugs are taken in moderation, they make you feel good, give you a break from life for a short time, and don't have negative effects.... i will never understand abusing drugs til your life is ruined, to me THAT makes no sense, but I will always advocate the use of drugs reponsibly |

They aren't something to play with.. I was dependent on them for over three years because I had a series of surgeries and I'm still taking doses of methadone to this day. I almost died from withdrawl, my blood preasure rose so high, they kept me in the hospital for 2 nights. Believe me, some people say they can shake it, but not if you've been taking them for a long long period of time. You will die, and it's a very scary feeling when a doctor tells you so.
