Yes, I still do everything by hand, but with Object Oriented Programming (OOO) in mind, I always make sure my code is going to be reusable to the max. My pages are now all designed that way.

I use my own html code, and set it up in notepad so i just push the down arrow and 1 key so i can change the pics in a gallery lighting fast. It's pretty easy if ya got a good setup. I woudn't mind learnign to use an editor though.

Dreamweaver is the best editor available. Please don't even think in use Frontpage... it really sucks(like any other microsoft product)...
Some effects like Dynamic html can't be made by handwriting...

That would be like walking when you own a car. I would've thought it to be a lot easier to learn the software than to learn the language.

I learn the language along with the software. Since you can view in HTML.

Yeah i write my code, only fun part of this job. + once you get good @ it. It's a quick & easy as using a tool

Well i will add this in on the subject: if you ever apply for a real webmasters job they require that you do all your html buy hand, here is what i have seen in some ad's.

example...
Webmaster wanted:
must know extensive html/dhtml, hand coding only, no dreamweaver types and must know photoshop and java scripting applications, knowlage of C-PHP programming a plus.

I hand-write this board. It's a lot of work keeping up with you guys as fast as you post, but I like the way comes out instead of one of those automatic thingies.

You guys must have more time than me. I don't see how handwriting could even come close to the speed of Frontpage. I can do anything with my page that I want. With exact precision.

While getting it spell checked and many other things at the same time. There's no way. I don't care how good you are.
