Should I change my paysite to an AVS site?
I have been running my own site (well 3 to be exact) and am getting rather pissed at having to do my own billing. Also I seem to keep getting screwed by password trading.
So I've been thinking of turning them into AVS sites. What kind of password protection (.htacess) do AVS sites offer? Would things be more secure? my main site is www.chezchris.ca and the other two are www.jeune18.com www.bigdaddyboomboom.com -- should i go avs???????? help chris |

One big benefit of AVS sites (at least for amateurs) is being able to leverage their content as a sales incentive for your own...
Being able to say "You'll get access to our whole network etc." is a great sales tool, and the surfer will take quite awhile to go through those other gazillion sites, upping retention. |

If you are having trouble with paysite management issues, then maybe avs is the way to go. They offer a great support system for newbies, or those unable to handle the rigors of running a paysite. Nobody ever said it was easy.

Most AVS systems give you a cut and paste htaccess code to use as soon as you add your site to their system.

Try a few avs's or mirror it for different traffic sources.
If you have established traffic go with cybersexnetwork.com - $20 rebills give me a warm , fuzzy feeling inside and the punters stay around forever. It doesn't convert quite as well, but that's more than made up for with the rebills. |

AVS is a great option if you don't want to be bothered much by your site.
