I need to hook up a DVD store that is searchable based on porn star names and is located on my domain.

I would love to have an affiliate program like effex media offers but I am hoping to find a company that actually responds to emails and phone calls.

with PECash (see sig), you can host the doorway pages on your website which will then seamlessly intergrate into the PECash inventory and order pages. it may provide what you need.
