Been playing around with the one from Hertz, it's pretty cool, but the machines themselves are about $1400 each, but is their a monthly fee after to stay on the GPS system or is it a one time thing?
Who has GPS in their car/truck?

I only use one on our boat. there are chips for different areas. When we moved our boat from maryland to NJ the new chip we bought cost about $250 bucks.
if u have ever read a nautical map it is a pleasure to have a gps system!SIG TOO BIG! Maximum 120x60 button and no more than 3 text lines of DEFAULT SIZE and COLOR. Unless your sig is for a GFY top banner sponsor, then you may use a 624x80 instead of a 120x60.Comment

I'll be helping a buddy install a computer and GPS unit with touch screen in his car probably sometime in July. Total cost for everything (screen included) will only be like $800 US. Not too shabby really.[URL=http://www.stupidcash.com/referral=sailorslut/]

I've had GPS in all of my cars... OEM and after market. The OEM is much better (at least from Lexus) so if they make if for your car, get it from the dealer. It's worth the extra money. At the very least, make sure it's touchscreen. Voice and remote controlled are very cumbersome. What make of vehicle?Comment

Don't you need to own a car to put a GPS in one?
