The SIX Rules for SUCCESS >>>>>

    1. If you think you can or think you can't, you are right! (Your mindset can dictate your outlook, and consequently your actions [or inaction] )

    2. Never think that your idea is too simple, too plain, already out there, or even stupid. (Sometimes the simplest of ideas are the most $$-lucrative-$$ ones.)

    3. Try NOT to rely much on "experts" or other people. (Be wary of who's advice you take. And be willing to follow thru instead of waiting on someone else to do it for you.)

    4. Be careful with your assumptions, and question them. (Don't just ASSume it will be in demand. Test your product/market before you start.)

    5. Does what you are doing fit in with your "overall" plan? (I.E. are you doing what you enjoy or just what's 'popular?'). You DO have an "overall" plan, don't you?

    6. Avoid spreading yourself too thin. Taking on too many projects at the same time will usually result in either not finishing any of those projects or producing mediocre products. (Quality vs Quantity.) Meanwhile, someone else will get the same idea and beat you to the finish line while you're juggling 10 different projects...OR...they will "steal" your idea from your mediocre product and turn it into gold. And, you'll continue to kick yourself for it.

    GL!

i usually have major problems with rule 6

SIG TOO SMALL! Maximum 1200x600 button and no more than 30 text lines of ALL SIZES and COLORS. Unless your sig is for a GFY top banner sponsor, then you may use a 6240x4800 instead of a 1024x800.

Great points and I agree with you on 6. Truly sucessful people have tunnel vision locking in on that one thing.
