I use directnic... it costs 15 dollars/year, and has some good services...
If u don't have money or credit card, try www.namezero.com - you can register domains for free, but you have to display namezero's advertising...

Seriously if you use your imagination, you will still be able to find good names. As an example, I was able to find a 5 letters domain name in 2 minutes (good for a mature site) 56ers.com! *hint* I didn't reserve it so if someone likes it, it yours for $15

Funny you should mention that... I just bought 69em.com a few months ago and made it into a paysite, now it's one of my top referrers to my free site, lol. Gets 500+/- uniques a day just from type ins.Seriously if you use your imagination, you will still be able to find good names. I've been checking out all of the places everyone has posted.
So far "DirectNIC" is the one.
They actually have the domain name that I wanted.
