    Why wont most sites trade with a toplist?

    Why wont people do that?
    The toplist I started just 2 days ago have about 1K a day in traffic and the prod on the clicks out from it are fucking nice!
    Why wont tgp owners wanna trade with it?

    Whats the problem?


    Please tell me.

    I mean I offer non blind traffic back...each click is a surfer clicking because they are intressted and not because they got tricked to.

                      Too many toplists catch surfers in a circle jerk. The reputation of toplists was set a long time ago. There's some good ones out there and i'm sure yours is one of them, but it's hard to overcome the bad rep in the minds of webmasters.

                              And I presonally dont understand why catch the surfer in a CJ from a toplist but never mind

                              I will never have a popup in my toplist or fuck with the surfer..I will however have banner spots later on but I wanna make sure the SE hits kick in first and also that I have stable trades.

                              I plan and hope to get this up at maby 5K a day.

                              But I need to find some bigger sites who can trade with me first.

                                  Dunno, I don't have a problem with TopLists, of course I'm sending traffic only to a few hand-picked, but I'm more than happy with the results.

                                      Good conversion out from them...need to feed them a little more with 404 traffic or something like that but I think I can get it going pretty sweet.

                                          I still "trade" with a few toplists. But out of all the ones I've tried over time, very very few have actually been worth it as far as hits sent and received. The vast majority seem to be filled with CJ sites or other top lists "trading" with each other. So at the end of the day it's too much effort for a WM to filter out the crap ones and figure out which ones are "real". Much easier to just not even bother.

                                          Toplists could probably do better with a change to their model. I was going to post a link to a toplist that's done very well with a lot of major sites except I can't seem to find it (having technical problems). The interesting thing about that toplist is that it really doesn't look like a toplist.

                                              Well I will stay within the cumshot field with my toplist...and I wont allow CJ sites.

                                              I have the same feeling as with my tgps...dont fuck the surfer and the surfer wont fuck you

                                              And with the feeder traffic im adding soon I think this might be a nice little way to get some extra hits to a tgp or a paysite or something like that.

                                                      Nice looking toplist. If I had that niche's content I would signup.

                                                      Toplist did get a bad rep years ago, but if you keep the cheaters and bs links off - then it is a good traffic trading tool. We run a few toplist and they do well for all who trade with us.

                                                          I don't have any facial sites but I have a site I'm testing Remote Thumbs on.. It would be easy enough to set up a facial section on it. I'll give it a try and sign up on it when it's done.

                                                                          And as for real links...most tgps skim so hard to trades so what the spoint...you can send hits to another site by tricking the surfer trough blindlinks but you cant send them to a toplist who dont trick the surfer but only show them what they will get?

If you want good traffic send it to one with a gateway. You may think this sounds stupid but the quality is much better and they return super productive hits.

There's just far too many cheaters and scammers out to make a quick buck that it ruins things for honest WMs. Same thing is happening to TGPs. Everyday I get new sites trying to signup that are just cookie cutter, filled with nothing but FHGs etc. At the end of the day, the sites with the traffic close ranks and only let in webmasters that prove themselves as trustworthy over some time. Don't blame us for the situation, we didn't create it.
