Yeah, maybe if you lived on a boat in international waters for the rest of your life you'd be safe. Otherwise you'd still be charged.

I heard there's a terrorist camp in the middle of international waters and they have WMD's up the ass and possibly Osama is hiding there along with other baddies, US NAVY jets by once in a while, but they can't do shit..

I'm not a lawyer, but I play one in singles bar's so please don't consider this as legal information. Its been my understanding that you are bound to the laws of whatever country the ship you are on is flagged under.

So with that in mind, look for ships flagged from Liberia as they are still somewhat in a civil war.
