Shaq is as dominant as Jordan. Nobody gives Shaq the proper respect. It would have been interesting to see Jordan's Bulls and Shaq's Lakers in the same era.

Not to mention, paxson and others, not only that really, but Jordan is money, freethrows, 3 point, driving the lane and so on. Shaq is huge and that the only advantage, if your unable to plow through the lane at 7' 300+ lbs then you got issues. God forbid it's game 7 with a few ticks left on the clock and Shaq's at the line.

Shaq is just a big piece of bones and muscles.. he is NOT bad.. but he aint all that... I guarantee you anything that if you were to give all the coaches in the league a choice between jordan or shaq ... at least 27 teams would pick MJ

Absolutely not. Shaq is a phenomenal athlete. He is a great passer and a great defender. His job isn't easy and he is not the tallest guy to play the game.

Your forgetting something else, Kobe has a few more rings then Jordan did at his age. If Kobe gets 8 rings in his career, is he the greatest? Probably not, becasue some of Jordan's legacy revolves around the way he changed the game on a multi-media level.

Jordan is one of the greats ever, but no way 27 teams take him over Shaq.

However, I do agree with you about KG. I can't believe he is in this conversation. Might as well put Webber in there as well while we are at it

Shaq can't shoot free throws. He's got some skills for a big man, but let's get real. He's mainly brute force. The Bulls of Jordan, Pippen, Rodman, and Paxson would shut the lakers of today down w/ defense. The old Rodman could psyche out Shaq w/ mental games (technicals on Rodman and Shaq--advantage-Bulls). The young Pippen would strain Kobe to 20 points or under. No one can consistently guard Jordan.

Back then, players were allowed to hand check their opponents, so alot of the foul on Jordan wasn't even call, and he already had alot of foul calls.
