Great News!!! :thumbsup

Whoa!! Great guys, you are truly moving ahead quickly! :thumbsup
It wasn't many days ago I myself asked a question regarding this :) My suggestion for the international part, like "mn" & "HollyMoss" had: Maybe You could at least add some ability to withdraw funds by international checks or through the outside-US common systems IBAN or SWIFT..? I would definitely find that a viable alternative to the PayPal-like international ACH, or what it's called.. Rand & KimmyKim - You rock!! :thumbsup :winkwink: |
Rand, Kimmy Kim, what non-adult sponsors pay by epassporte? Is there any "official" list at a URL that I can look at? Thanks :)
|
Good news, I'm sure our advertisers and sponsors will agree.
If you build it they will come :thumbsup |
okay, this looks good but quick question - is the driver license information required? Some of us that live in citites don't drive :)

In this part of SE Kansas we have only local banks. I have no idea whether they are profiteering or passing on fees charged by their correspondent banks. But either way, it hurts. For me, the removal of Paypal was a blow. They had the easiest to use system and offered more (and cheaper) options than anyone else. In comparison, ePassporte is a dinosaur: unless a sponsor sets up an account for you, the frustration starts when, instead of putting the basic details online, you are asked to request more info. It duly arrives, but three days later (both times I have asked for it) and including absolutely nothing which couldn't have appeared on the site. You then have to email back to apply and to date I have done that twice without getting any response. A week or so ago - since I need to accept a few payments via a program that is in fairly wide use - I called. Had a very friendly, helpful conversation with someone. But I'm still waiting for the information he promised. I realize that when similar complaints appear on a board KK usually pops up and offers to deal with them. That's very good, but the posts along these lines are fairly regular and that bothers me when it relates to someone who is going to be handling money. |

Ok here are my answers, in no particular order, and if I miss anything, let me know.
1. We are not Paypal. We do not have the same features or detriments that Paypal has. There are some things that we do that are similar, or perhaps closer than similar, to Paypal. However, we do accept adult transactions and we don't arbitrarily freeze funds. You know how to get ahold of us, and you can always email Rand or myself with questions or problems. 2. We charge fees in accordance with what transactions cost us to perform. Due to the arrangements we have with Visa and our banks, some of these fees are more or less than others charge. 3. You cannot ACH money into a business account, they are loaded only via wire. You can ACH out of them however. 4. Crypt, please email me -- kimmy @ epassporte.com with your account information. 5. Pelican, I've got someone looking into your situation you've emailed me and expect an answer soon. 6. charly, thanks for the neverending support and criticism, without it I'd think you were dead. 7. Cash, I do not have a list, I'm sorry. 8. Other countries will be added as the demand for them grows. I have no schedule for this since it takes generally a good 6 months minimum to implement with all the different banking rules and regulations and there is research and all that good stuff involved as well. We will roll them out as fast as we can, but not until they are ready, tested and working correctly. |
