what sponsors have hosted galleries with thumbs already made up and are nice and easy to import into comus thumbs ?

Why would you need pre-made thumbs for Comus?
Just cut and paste a list of urls into the import mode... can't get any easier than that

Use the SoulCash EZ Import file which includes hosted 88X88 thumbs and descriptions. All in a pipe delimited spreadsheet ready to go...
