some of Leatherface's characteristics were borrowed from Ed Gein (who was also the inspiration for "Psycho" and Buffalo Bill in "Silence Of The Lambs")

As mentioned above, it's fake, but the movies are still funny. Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2, with Dennis Hopper, is easily the most fucked up movie of the bunch.Comment

there's a great (hard to find) documentary called "Texas Chainsaw Massacre: A Family Porttrait" that talks to the major stars of the movie and offers some behind the scenes stuff. Highly entertaining stuff and a pisser to know that most of the actors got stiffed from the investors in the movie, who ran off with all of the money it madeComment
