Which porn sponsors generate $100 million and more in revenue?

Do you know of any?

Gross, I say none except perhaps someone that's in both video and internet. I think think the only companies that have done that business were the organized crime families that were perpetrating the hundreds of millions of dollars in credit card fraud...

you have to remember companies who have been in the game for several years.. have hundreds of thousands to several million in just rebills alone... plus the new traffic they take in... then if the company is run efficiently they also maximze that traffic to produce other income besides the obvious.. again a game of numbers..

yes there are sponsors who GROSS over $100 Million

huh ?

ok say they pay $2mil. month x 12 = 12million/year
then say affiliates get only 25% so again x 4 = $48 million
way short of $100.000.000

I once read somewhere that MicroSoft was pulling down over $1M per HOUR gross. I wonder if there's any truth to that, or perhaps I'm not recalling the figure correctly.

To achieve 100 million gross off of internet subscription sales would be quite a feat. $8.33 million a month is not out of the question though. ARS 18-24 months ago, The Ox/Nasty/BBO crew come to mind.

A more likely scenario is a company that has non internet properties that are revenue generators. Magazine, video, DVD, cable revenues, licensing, internet would be the platforms that would seem to be the needed. LFP would be a candidate for these gross numbers, but take that with a caveat as magazine publishing has a much lower margin than internet. The printing and distribution costs alone are enormous.

I doubt anyone is doing $100 million per year. Since formation, I would say iFriends, Hustler (video, magazine and internet sales) and possibly BangBros/NastyDollars.

I seriously doubt BangBros/NastyDollars/OxCash make anywhere near $100M in annual gross revenue.

Wow, no one mentioned CECash.. Those guys definitely bank over the $100M mark, or at least used to.

iFriends probably does over $100M as well..

Both Gross, not Net..

Its actually much higher. MSFT netted $9,993,000,000.00 last year. $10 billion equals over 1.1 million NET an hr.

What a money printing machine..truly awe inspiring numbers.

And for the rest of you... 100 million? lol Are you guys crazy?

First of all if you did 1000 signups a day (using a round number) which would be a large program you figure only 25% of those signups go past trial. So 250x39.99 which after processing is really about 35 = $8,750 a day. Out of those they only stay an average of 1.5 months so that is anohter 12,000 over time. Now take away chargebacks, and credits and you are at about 10,000 a day. Then you have to pay your wembasters for those 1000 signups at 35.00 each (35,000)..... you are already down 10,000 dollars a day... So lets say you make 3k a day off dialers and another 3k off your exits. Not you are only down 4k a day... You see where I'm going.

Not to mention that we pay for bandwidth, servers, staff, content.. (reality sites costing 60-80k per) and so on.

There is much, much, much smaller margin then anyone has a clue of.

I know of 1 program that has done that in the past, and a few that likely come close now, but my guess is that based purely on online adult transactions, there is maybe 1 doing it now!

LA Mike,
some good points, but knowone asked if anyone was making $100M a year, just if they were doing that in gross sales. Also, you are absolutely right, webmasters generally don't have a clue what a programs margin is and generally think it is 10 to 20 times higher than it is.

this brings me to my other point, there is no way Friend Finder is doing 100M a year in sales, probably closer to $20M - $25M, my guess is their payout over the last 12 months was about $16M to 18M. That leaves about 5% to 30% of their gross sales before any operating costs have been deducted!

$100,000,000.oo without fraud or an offline aspect involved? FORGET IT!

That's about $274,000 in sales per day.

You'd have to sell over 9,000 $30 memberships/rebills each day. Even with a larege affiliate base and taking into account other smaller sources in connection with the site, that would be next to impossible.
