                  got me on this one - though i dont claim to be a fan

                  im guessing form your clue it has somethign to do with the Elektra records - the label they were signed to

                  i now they signed with them in 66 their first album was 67
                  but what they did i have no ides - hell my mom was only 6 then

                  just a guess.........
                  was it hand signing their album

                          This is pretty obscure trivia.

                          It was the first album advertised on a billboard in the US

                          The caption I quoted was what was on the billboard, obviously referring to 'break on through to the other side, break on through...insert screaming here "

                          Ive read a lot of doors books, pretty sure this info came from No One Here Gets Out Alive
