Nothing herbal will ever be approved by the FDA because in order to get something FDA approved a company has to spend millions on testing. Since nothing natural can be patented companies will not waste their money. And there lies the big scam of the medicine industry.

Are you completely ignorant? Does it make sense to you that man made chemicals are would miraculously work better than something natural? I also said most now didnt I? The original poster is looking for FDA approved herbal products not fucking vegetables.
Then in many cases hell yes man made products are better for you than natural ones. Get some serious infection sometime and then tell me you will ask for the green grocer over the antibiotics they offer you.

Now yes products like melatonin will help you sleep, catnip can help with cramps, yogurt can ease yeast infections, vitamin C will help with iron asorbtion, rose hips will calm an upset stomach, warm milk will help you sleep, and so on and so on. I am not putting down stuff that works. I am pointing out the majority of snake oil products sold as herbal substitutes.

A 'vegetable' is defined as an edible plant. Herbs are derived from plants. There is not one man made product that is 'better for you' than something natural. Anything man made is considered a toxin as far as your body goes, and that is especially true with antibiotics. Toxins are stored in your body for years and when your body becomes to toxic disease occurs. There are many natural antibiotics that are effective. When a doctor prescribes you medication he is doing nothing more than treating a symptom and not the cause, and the medication actually makes your body more toxic.

I cured myself of a kidney tumor through herbs and vegetables, and if I would have followed conventional medicine there is no doubt I would be dead.

Following that train of logic then many herbal products would be considered toxins since they too are made of extracts and assembled by people who put them in little capsuls.
Alot of mainstream medicines are also just collected elements naturally found in nature and not created in some lab.

In any event I was originally talking about the vast majority of various snake oil style herbal products. Penis enlargement pills, breast enlargement pills, and so on.
