Babe, baby, baby, I'm Gonna Leave You.
I said baby, you know I'm gonna leave you.
I'll leave you when the summertime,
Leave you when the summer comes a-rollin'
Leave you when the summer comes along.
Baby, baby, I don't wanna leave you,
I ain't jokin' woman, I got to ramble.
Oh, yeah, baby, baby, I believin',
We really got to ramble.
I can hear it callin' me the way it used to do,
I can hear it callin' me back home!
Babe...I'm gonna leave you
Oh, baby, you know, I've really got to leave you
Oh I can hear it callin 'me
I said don't you hear it callin' me the way it used to do?
I know I never never never gonna leave your babe
But I got to go away from this place,
I've got to quit you, yeah
Baby, ooh don't you hear it callin' me?
Woman, woman, I know, I know
It feels good to have you back again
And I know that one day baby, it's really gonna grow, yes it is.
We gonna go walkin' through the park every day.
Come what may, every day
It was really, really good.
You made me happy every single day.
But now... I've got to go away!
Baby, baby, baby, baby
That's when it's callin' me
I said that's when it's callin' me back home...

Some of Zeps best lyrics
Oh let the sun beat down upon my face, stars to fill my dream
I am a traveler of both time and space, to be where I have been
To sit with elders of the gentle race, this world has seldom seen
They talk of days for which they sit and wait and all will be revealed

Yup, I agree 100%. Too many good ones to be able to pick.
One of only a few bands that don't need a greatest hits disc.
When I can't get myself motivated to start working on something, I put on The Song Remains the Same. That ALWAYS gets me going. Never again will there be a band like Zeppelin.

Indeed way to many to list but No Quarter is without a doubt in my top 10.
The Lemon Song is kick ass as well.

Probably my favorite band of all time. Hard to name the best song, for me thats like deciding between who is the prettiest girl of all time. An unoriginal choice, but the end of Stairway to heaven ALWAYS gets the radio turned up. Always.
I can tell you which live music DVD is the best on the market though. Its the last Zeppelin one, "How the West Was Won". Really stunning live material, especially the set from 1969 in England.
Travelling Riverside Blues is good but not the best...
First time I heard Stairway to heaven I almost cried at 14
DICK TOO BIG! Maximum 120x60 button and no more than 3 text lines of DEFAULT SIZE and COLOR.
Unless your sig is for a GFY top banner sponsor, you may use a 624x80 instead of a 120x60.
Let me repeat... A 120 x 60 button and no more that 3 lines of DEFAULT SIZE AND COLOR text.
Are these lyrics just drippin' with lust for his woman or wha?.......followed by depression as he realizes the bitch is just usin' him............
BLACK DOG
Hey, hey, mama, said the way you move
Gonna make you sweat, gonna make you groove.
Oh, oh, child, way you shake that thing
Gonna make you burn, gonna make you sting.
Hey, hey, baby, when you walk that way
Watch your honey drip, can?t keep away.
I gotta roll, can?t stand still,
Got a flame in my heart, can?t get my fill,
Eyes that shine burning red,
Dreams of you all thru my head.
Ah ah ah ah ah ah ah ah ah ah ah ah ah.
Hey, baby, oh, baby, pretty baby,
Tell me what you do me now.
(repeat)
Didn?t take too long ?fore I found out
What people mean my down and out.
Spent my money, took my car,
Started tellin? her friends she wants to be a star.
I don?t know but I been told
A big legged woman ain?t got no soul.
* chorus
All I ask for when I pray,
Steady rollin? woman gonna come my way.
Need a woman gonna hold my hand
And tell me no lies, make me a happy man.
........a great song about the sacrifice and doom of war......
Close the door, put out the light.
No, they won?t be home tonight.
The snow falls hard and don?t you know?
The winds of thor are blowing cold.
They?re wearing steel that?s bright and true
They carry news that must get through, oooh
They choose the path where no-one goes.
They hold no quarter, they hold no quarter.
Walking side by side with death
The devil mocks their every step
The snow drives back the foot that?s slow
The dogs of doom are howling more
They carry news that must get through
To build a dream for me and you
They choose the path where no-one goes.
They hold no quarter, they ask no quarter.
The pain, the pain without quarter.
They ask no quarter.
Yeah! without quarter, quarter, yeah!
The dogs of doom are howling more!
I hear the dogs of doom are howling more!
Oh let the sun beat down upon my face, stars to fill my dream
I am a traveler of both time and space, to be where I have been
To sit with elders of the gentle race, this world has seldom seen
They talk of days for which they sit and wait and all will be revealed
Talk and song from tongues of lilting grace, whose sounds caress my ear
But not a word I heard could I relate, the story was quite clear
Oh, oh.
Oh, I been flying... mama, there ain?t no denyin?
I?ve been flying, ain?t no denyin?, no denyin?
All I see turns to brown, as the sun burns the ground
And my eyes fill with sand, as I scan this wasted land
Trying to find, trying to find where I?ve been.
Oh, pilot of the storm who leaves no trace, like thoughts inside a dream
Heed the path that led me to that place, yellow desert stream
My shangri-la beneath the summer moon, I will return again
Sure as the dust that floats high and true, when movin? through kashmir.
Oh, father of the four winds, fill my sails, across the sea of years
With no provision but an open face, along the straits of fear
Ohh.
When I?m on, when I?m on my way, yeah
When I see, when I see the way, you stay-yeah
Ooh, yeah-yeah, ooh, yeah-yeah, when I?m down...
Ooh, yeah-yeah, ooh, yeah-yeah, well I?m down, so down
Ooh, my baby, oooh, my baby, let me take you there
I love that scene in "Fast Times at Ridgemont High" where they cut to the car scene and they're cruising along, and "Kashmir" is blaring out..............
I also love the Phoebe Cates tit scene at the pool

Damn, I could never figure out what that song was about.
