I wonder if they have some 2ft and/or 3ft cubicle sections?

yeah, all my buddies that had high positons there like their very first hires are all gone within the past 2 months.. I was looking for them at the convention, only to find them already all gone.. I knew something was up.

But it seems that they have all started their own shit.. Ill see if I can get more of the smut of the story.

How does George W. put the fear of God into these multimillion dollar companies? All this talk about internet law is all shit. The internet can police itself. Order comes out of anarchy like my homey Noam Chomsky says. There are hacker groups out there who take down child porn sites for free. You don't need to pay a bunch of numbnut government officials to sit on their ass all day.

As for keeping kids away from porn, any 5 year old kid can just turn the channel to bravo or showcase and see some titties. The real problem is that kids know how to use computers better than their parents. Ask George W. what a content advisor is and he'd tell you its a position in the ministry of the interior.

All these whining artists trying to make money off of their intellectual "property" rights really make me wanna retch. I think Copernicus should of patented his theory and sold it on tape at the local HMV, while the rest of us stay in the fucken dark ages like a bunch of mooks. Lens, if you get any more industry news about litagation or of the like, please post it here.. It seems like Ive been coming here more than the avn sites or ynot for my info.

This was all new to me.

That whole, "we're selling because of the industry problems" is just an excuse for their problems. The stories of them not paying their bills and laying off people has been news for months. I don't beleive a word of Edmund's spin.

The reasons cited by them are irrelavant.

1. If sextracker doesn't have anything indecent and follows the law, they don't have to worry about the Gov't.

2. RJB's problems are not FCI's. They won't be effected by that.

3. CEN's spamming has no effect on them unless they are spamming too.

4. It's no secret that Sextracker looked the other way when they were sending traffic to Cresent, which has basically been shut down by the Feds. Then the switched to the dialers, which the Feds also shut down.

The truth is that they haven't suceeded in a business where all the big players make big $. (except Playboy - they don't have a clue)

That's why they are toast.

It maybe that they got big fast (in network size) and a little arrogant in the glory of their fast growth, hiring and expanding, without making sure the foundation they were built on as a business was strong enough

They also, for sure did not act responsibly or listen to their webmasters


From a personal standpoint the sextracker counter started off pretty good, but then started to become shittier and shittier, so I dropped it months ago, along with a lot of other webmasters, leaving either people who were too busy to see what they were doing, people who were oblivious, or rip off or marginally legal sites, displaying their counters

Their hosting began as a very good hosting system, then they started siphoning off traffic, through sneaky little surfer limit consoles, and splash pages. When freesites went down, the writing was on the wall...

I stopped using them over a year ago for hosting

I never used the money tree, so i can't comment on that

It does really show you that, as a webmaster, you really really need to check out the programs you use, and activly have to be involved in the 'net and it's happenings before you get burned big time

also you'd better diversify your income and sites a little, if you're smart

Actually, Andy said that all of the pieces collectively he believes he can get eight figures. So we're talking the main free host, Sex Spaces, the other free hosts, Porno Places I think it's called and another one, the paid hosting, the counters Sex Tracker, XXX Counter and possibly Sex List and Outster, there is Money Tree, YNOT Masters, and the other divisions which include graphic design and I think programming, plus I'm probably forgetting something -- all combined. So it is not totally actually quite reasonable that it could add up to 10 million or more.

I see only one potential component that might be problematic and that is Money Tree in that it requires a lot of traffic and that it cannot stand by itself, where the other parts can neatly be sliced of FCI. Because of this few people have the ability to feed it, and those who could probably wouldn't want to do so. Should be interesting.

I've got a question, does anyone use Sextracker's PAID HOSTING? Don't get me wrong, I like the counters and the rankings, but the freehosting is slow as shit and when you're checking your stats it's slow as shit.

Now I know that the freehosting and the paid servers are on different setups, but isn't that the worst advertising ever? If one of you guys buys FC either drop the freehosting or make it decent. It's like showing somebody a crappy picture then saying "wanna buy some pictures from me?"

Just my opinion.
