MY CD-ROM and MUSIC
Okay I can't understand this at all. I just got a new computer with a Burner and a 50x CD-ROM they work LOVELY.
Well, up until I try to play a Music CD. My computer locks up and I have to remove the CD from the ROM and then re-close the CD-ROM with the CD in it. ANYONE any ideas? ------------------ Don't Panic it's only me. |

Here's some things to try:
1. Uninstall your CD player program from the "Add / remove programs" control panel. Then reinstall it again. 2. Try disabling DMA on the CD-ROM drive if it is checked. 3. Disable autoplay on your CD-ROM drive. I would try them one at a time in that order. |
