Like anyone else... it is a great way to earn some extra cash working flexible hours. The porn part has been intriguing. I do write erotic fiction, so it does give me an outlet for my work. In addition, it is a great icebreaker. The guys all love what I do.. and a few women, too.

I got in this business because of the possible money to be made. Sex is universal, whether on the net or not. Besides, since I've been an adult webmaster, I feel like a gynecologist! I'm so removed from what I'm posting. It has desensitized me in a way.

honest to go god this is how i got started in the whole on-line porn.
my grandfather was one of the first to pioneer computer programming in the state of california. then my dad has programming like for ever and it wasnt till 1996 he started doing adult sites. so naturally i picked up on things and it was basically my dad who helped and has been helping me out

I used to have to wake up early when it's super cold at 6:30 am in the morning and work from 8-4:30 and getting yelled and cussed at all day it was so stressful, I would be burned out on the weekends and wanted to quit so bad. And I couldn't go to school because it's too stressful to go to class and work full-time at the same time, and I tried going to night school and got burned out. Actually I got burned out just working full-time.

With selling porn I can set my own schedule and go back to college and get a degree for back-up.

It's not true that women don't like porn. I used to surf porn all the time and watch movies all the time with my ex. I've always liked porn, women will just lie about it. When I was younger I would always lie whenever guys asked me i I ever watch porn (because I don't want guys to think I'm easy or superfreaky) , but watched it undercover ALL the time.

Same thing with masturbation.... but of course now it's cool to admit we all do it because Britney Spears wrote a song about it ;)

I stumbled accross it while promoting an Escort Service website in 1998 - started adding sponsors and turned into a full-time webmistress by 2000.....

I also remember not knowing how to use Google when I first started surfing but searching everything through the aol toolbar. And when surfing porn I would see pages and "alt tags" with keywords stuffed in them, so I sort of figured out they were trying to aim for that keyword to make money perhaps, and seeing real small spam text at the bottom of pages and wondering what that was for.

And when surfing porn, sometimes I would look at the url address and see
something like www.porn.com/refid:blahblah, so I figured someone was getting credit for the signup. And then clicking "webmasters here" on a bunch of paysite and reading about $35 per sign up. That was the beginning for me!

What do GUYS think about women who sell porn? Before I went back to college some guys thought it was "lowlife" of me to sell porn, because I wasn't going to school or holding a "real job" and because all I was doing was webmastering. I think most guys prefer girls who are attending UCI and studying to be something respectable like a pharmacist, dentist or doctor rather than someone who sells porn. I've NEVER modeled or been content, but a few guys still think it's "low-life" for a girl to market porn.

And some guys thought it was "cool" and said I was "smart" for knowing how to make $$ on the net and asked for free porn or tips how to get started themselves ...

And some guys thought I wasn't respectable but probably "freaky" and not a "good girl" because I sell porn. K... like it's ok for them to watch it but not for me to sell it... whatever.

Well, at least if I'm going to college I don't think they mind much because I have a goal. But if I just sell porn f/t I honestly think it bothers a lot of guys. They would not want to have a serious relationship with me because I'm not
