50 non-tipped bartenders

i always tip and if i pay my bill with a c/card i always put like a 5 or 10/20 dollar cash tip with it,as some bars and clubs dont pass on the tips if its added to a c/c bill.

Okay, I have to edit, because while I've read stories of people "personalizing" food and drink, I've never actually seen it. Most professionals will simply deal with your bullshit and be glad when you're gone. You really do catch more flies with honey than with vinegar, so just don't be an asshole.

Also, if you do receive less than perfect service, it doesn't take a brain surgeon to see who's at fault. Sometimes it's just the cheap-ass owner understaffing and the poor servers have to do the job of 2 people. But in the same regard, if the place is dead and your server is too busy chatting with his/her friends, they shouldn't be shocked when they get stiffed on the tip.

My mom always taught me, if you can't afford to tip, you can't afford to go out.

I tip of course, but I like my favourite waiter to get my drinks for me. She always has my drink at the table by the time I have my jacket off. :) If she isn't working, though, then hell yeah I tip whoever gets my drinks. If they shoot me a free drink, then that's a 2-3$ tip right there.

I don't like putting the tip on the credit card, because they the waiter/bartender doesn't know if you're going to tip or not, and I'm never sure if they get the full tip or not. I like to give them the cash. :)

Yeah $1.00 a drink but i really fucking hate it when they don't aknowledge it. Especially the Hollywood Actor Douche Bags that act like their doing me a favor :glugglug
