Metallica OWN3D...

Copenhagen

just got home from concert in copenhagen.

the scream from people when the intro (The Ecstasy of Gold) was played and lights went out.... IT was so fucking great!

only few numbers from new album... first song Blackened

Songs:
"Blackened"
"Fuel"
"The Four Horsemen"
"Fade to Black"
"Frantic"
"Holier Than Thou"
"I Disappear"
"St. Anger"
"Sad But True"
"Creeping Death"
"Battery"

Encore 1:
"Anywhere I Roam"
"Nothing Else Matters"
"Master of Puppets"

Encore 2:
"One"
"Enter Sandman"

Encore 3:
"Four Leaf Clover"
"Seek & Destroy"

Quote: It wouldn't be fair to pull out the dusty cliche that the final number, "Seek & Destroy," brought down the house, because the house had already been shaking for two hours.

It's rare to attend a concert where the energy level doesn't sag at one point or another, but at this show, the energy kept rising!!

MY BEST SHOW EVER!!!

catch em on tour worth the money!!!!

Metallica concerts are truly unbelievable. It's absolutely amazing to hear 40,000+ people singing along with the songs, word for word. Not many bands can claim something like that.

They're rerouting a fall tour here in the US to accommodate their stage needs, I can't wait to see the final schedule.

While I haven't liked any of their last couple albums (St. Anger did have a few bright spots I guess), their live show is always great. I've probably seen Metallica 20-25 times and they've never failed to disappoint with their live shows.

Hell, I still break out the Cliff 'em All video from time to time.....

Sad but true...

Metallica might be the last real Rock band.

Rock is very dead.
The American music industry destroid it with filler poser's and no talent fucks.

But its good to know a Rock/Metal band can take names and numbers without major media suckin them to death and make a huge ass amount of money.

Metallica aint my favorite but like many "Rock" bands with actual talent do not need mainstream media I suppose its a good thing.

Saw them twice last year (once in London the other at Reading) and they fuckin rocked!
No other band has even compared to them live, both the band and the audience had so much energy.

I really hope I get the chance to see them again.

to each his own...I have seen Kiss but think Metallica puts on a better show...but the last Kiss concert I was at was a "farewell tour" so how do they count as a band who puts on a good show these days?? arnt they retired?

Retired Gene is a money magnet. 50 pounds worth of costume 50+ years old and they jam for 3 hours! 4-5 nights a week. They have 23 consecutive Gold albums which only ranks behind the Stones and the Beatles. I say there show is by far and away better than Mettalica. Just my opinion

farewell means time to make another 50 million this year cause every show is sold out! 23 CONSECUTIVE, they have the most Gold Albums of any american band of all time. It's just a testament to who they are and how they have sustained time after time. Someone is going to the shows.

Now this is a show!
