What is your conversion on Gallery/TGP traffic?

Hey there,

I'm wondering which conversion you think is good for gallery traffic, on average. My sponsor is doing 1:495 this month, which i think is ok, but i'm wondering: you see a (niche)gallery that you like, you want to see more, you visit the site. And still only 1 in 500 people decides to join? If you look at it that way this conversion ratio is pretty bad.

What do you think?

no,its actually good

if it's a typical tgp surfer he'll check from few to some 100s tours within a year and we'll join from very few to none. A large % of tgp sales come from SE traffic the tgp receives.

Conversion rates doesn't mean much to me...
It's always about how much time does it takes to make te sale..
For example you have a 100K tgp and spend like 1 hour a day to maintain it....

it makes you 500$ a week then 7 hours of work deliverd you 500$
minus costs.. there is your clean profit...

HI Marie

There are two thing important, first the TGP where you are posting on, does it blindlink alot , where does the traffic comes from, or does the site have a lot of bookmarkers.

Then there is the description of the gallerie and position what will generate the links on the actually gallerie.

Then there is the gallerie that has to have exclusive gallleries, that load fast, with nice thumbs and relevant text and a look and feel of the landingspage where that traffic will come.

If they click from the gallerie to the landingspage they are interested and they have to have the feeling that the gallerie is in synergy with that page.

What is the conversion from gallerie to frontpage on the galleries?

The galleries have to be posted on TGP's that are niche related to that gallerie to get best conversions.

We have a click trough on the galls from 10-25% on the tgp and then a (you know lol ) conversion on the frontpges

conversions are all over with gallery traffic.

i have some guys who have had their pages forever, and have some quality surfers, who give up constant numbers that would boggle your mind.

then others get the standard 1:600 or higher

depends on too many factors

Also depends on how you count your conversions.. 1:500 is that raw first page clicks or unique second page? Huge difference...
