Would you want somebody not to report when somebody stole and used your content illegally? Their making profit off of fox's tv series!

So true, When Fox gets word of this the person will be closing the site down, I feel for the saps that have already paid.. :321GFY

Glad were all a bunch of lawyers here eh?

To those comments about my lawyers and reporting me; go ahead and have fun. Fox could care less about the 20 subscribers I've got. I don't distribute the video to the end user, I just let them watch it. They are more interested in the source of the problem, such as RobotoLabs, File sharing networks, and bootlegs then they are about streaming media.

In fact, they prefer people streaming their media vs. distributing it. AOL and Time Warner own Cartoon Network and Nullsoft (Makers of winamp), which plays such items as Family Guy, Aqua Teen Hunger Force, and other cartoons. The Nullsoft Video Directory has tons of shows directly from Time-Warners lineup being played 24/7 on their streams, and have had those streams up for about a year or so. No one has been sued, or will be sued over a video stream in the near future. If so, fuck me up the ass eh?

For those of you who think I'm a sham. :1orglaugh Naw, I'm not a sham. The subscription based way I do things helps pay the bills. http://web.zplay.net/mrtg/ and as you can see, a 50 person server full 24/7 would have gotten pricey :) - I thought about doing it by donation based system (Like i did with Peter-Griffen.com 3 months ago. And FYI; it's coming back online in the coming weeks) but some people would donate $100, where some would donate $1 for a private slot. I don't like taking $100 from someone, and then having the next guy pay $1 for a private slot. At $7 a user it will be the most fair way of getting access to a slot on the server.

So now you know why things are the way they are. I'm not out to cheat anyone, just provide simpsons episodes to those who don't have the space or bandwidth to download 15 seasons worth. I like the simpsons as well, and I personally feel like I'm giving back to the people who 1) don't have cable like me, or 2) want to get their simpsons fix 24/7/365 as long as they are near a broadband connection.

Season 15 will be uploaded sunday or so for your vieweing pleasure to those who are interested.

Cheers :)

Homer.

Homer_J_Simpson 05-27-2004 06:37 PM

How come SaltWaterChimp (The site is run by a moron FYI - And quality sucks) has been up 6+ months?

They stream quite a bit more items then me :) and advertise it quite a bit.

And FYI; it's already been a month online :)

I could care less if you make $70 or $7-million. I think the people that replied to this thread are just saying, once fox gets word of what you are doing, by making money off a show they own, and you re-produce via the internet. Their attorneys (Fox network) will be contacting you, I am sure. Unless you are the president of the Fox network or own the rights to the show you will get busted in do time.

Thats just my opinion and I could be wrong..:2 cents:

If you don't care, it's "COULDN'T care less"...

Fucking morons.

Ahh.. okay. So you licensed them.. not just purchased the retail dvd? I also assume you paid Acacia for streaming rights?

Oh no.. wait.. nevermind.. you wouldn't know about that shit, or care.
Illegal content stinks
