I liked the scene in predator where the guy uses the chaingun on the wilderness. IMDB lists that scene as requiring 20kg! of ammunition... (its about 90 seconds long)

I find it most amusing that the 3 main characters can take on 10,000 orcs or oroukai (what ever) single handedly over and over and over again.

I mean, first movie... they show up and take the 2 hobbits. Aragorn fights them all off on his own... doesn't even break a sweat.

The second movie, Aragorn and Gimly jump onto that bridge way into Helms Deep to fight them all off at the gate... and they hold their own just fine against thousands of them.

I mean, sure.. .they're the heros, but come on.... these guys are stronger than human creatures that eat raw flesh... they shouldn't be that wimpy.

Aragorn isn't an ordinary human. Something about his blood makes him stronger, live longer, etc...

In the first movie Aragorn got messed up by the Orcs. His mouth was all bleeding and he spit out blood.

The second movie he got messed up too. Fell off into the river and was half dead...

Yeah the Wal Mart I went to was sold right out the day of the release and they were expecting another emergency shipment but I didn't wait around for it.........and picked it up the next day.....apparently its smashing sales records.

The Extended Edition will have 40 minites or so more to it, including Saruman getting his ass kicked. I look forward to it.

Only issue I had in all 3 movies was in LOTR:TT when Legolas got on the horse from grabbing the front of the horse, swinging to the left side to only whip to the right side.

Looked awful.

But still, greatest movies ever and they could only be topped by "The Hobbit" which as soon as Jackson is done wasting his time on King Kong will be made next and IMHO was the best book of all.

I may be wrong since it's been years since I read it, (and I?m getting old and smoke too smoke wacky weed) but Saruman doesn?t get his butt kicked anymore then what was shown in FOTR.
