yeah I do that - buy the first one but the extended versions are way better -

Extended editions got so much stuff that the regular movie doesn't have.

Two Towers had all those scenes with Boromir. The added scenes really change the entire movie.

Its not like the Star Wars Extended Editions where the added stuff doesn't even do anything for the movie...

I heard that..........I've been really disappointed with Lucas' decisions lately.......first of all, he crassly adds some digital effects into those movies and like you said, they don't add a thing to the story.........he's too lazy to add new scenes or material and release it.......

Then he "edits" the first Star Wars movie, removing a pivotal moment with Han Solo killing Greedo..........and having Greedo shoot first to make Solo look like he killed him in self-defense.......that was the lamest motherfuckin' thing.........

Then he doesn't work for decades, and finally when he does, he comes up with complete crap (SW1 and SW2) disappointing us SW fans.........

and finally, he trumps himself with the worst, and gives us Jar Jar Binks just so he can sell more toy plastic crap figures.
