...the size of the window when IE is launched?

For ex. when I open my browser, it goes to a maximized window. When I shift-click (or right click and launch an new window) the new window opens a fourth the size of my screen.

There isnt really a setting I don't think.

I find with IE if I want to make changes to the windows. I Set them the size I like, and then totally close all Explorer windows, and then restart IE.. usually they will keep their size then.

I think if you close all open windows except one, size up the last one how you want the new ones to open, then close it, it should save that position as the default.

Although, I might just be remembering wrong...

Last way you sized it prior to closing is how it opens next time.

That is correct.

Problem is j a v a s c r i p t can resize, so a site can fuck around with your desired settings.

if you have a shortcut down in your Quick Launch bar, right click on it, go to Properties, and where it says "Run"..... choose Maximized.

whenever you open from that shortcut, it'll open maximized.
