price well i want something affordable. im gonna be there 2 months.
i rather a private place.. but if its $$$ ill share with someone.
i would prefer something close to mosman or sydney there.. not too informed about the area.Someone finds you...

2 months is tricky, a hotel would probably be too expensive and apartment leases are normally for 6-months or more.Originally posted by chowda

If you're talking about being here in the US summer (ie our winter), the best bet would probably be to rent a holiday apartment at Bondi Beach or Manly Beach, since there should be a fair bit of room to negotiate price at this time of the year and both (especially Bondi) would be fun places to stay.

Inner-city suburbs that I'd recommend are Paddington, Double Bay or Woollarah (if you like it upmarket), or Darlinghurst, Surry Hills, Kings Cross and Potts Point (if you prefer a more alternative scene).
If you're prepared to share with someon, you could simply look at the Share Accomodation ads, eg:
