Punk, I think.
|
Punk all the fucking way! There are way too many bands to list... I'll name a few that haven't been mentioned yet:
Leftover Crack Choking Victim INDK Morning Glory Raised Fist The (International) Noise Conspiracy Youth Brigade SNFU Did anyone mention Offspring? They used to be good. Ignite At The Drive-In Against Me! NOFX (If you don't like these guys, you're probably not punk) Vision As for "rap"... mainstream rap is bullshit. Period. Bling-bling, blah blah blah. There is some good lesser-known stuff that isn't worth naming. Just throw out your rap CDs and buy punk. If you want to know what else is good, checkout my list of albums: http://octo.sytes.net:81/albums.php |
You have another punk rocker here!
Johnny Thunder, Ian Dury, CRASS, GG Allin, Buzzcocks, disorder and... Im really into old school, so please no poppunk. |

I can listen to everything...However, if I have to pick from the 2, Punk is my choice. I've been listening to a lot of Op Ivy, DK, Sex Pistols, Circle Jerks, Old Bad Religion, The Exploited, etc. lately. I appreciate different parts of the music through different periods. Love or hate the new bands, Travis Barker from Blink 182 is one of the quickest/most in control drummers I've listened to lately.
With that being said... WHEN'S THE PATY!?!? :glugglug |

Thank you for mentioning Ian Dury. My hubby wrote a song for him back in the day and right up until he died he still remembered him. Have I missed a mention of the dammed? Jet Boy Jet Girl is one of my all time fave songs. |
